Leucos has introduced a spring bouquet of new lighting designs, called Collezione Primavera, designed by the likes of Danilo De Rossi, Ilkka Suppanen and Thomas Sandell. The collection includes Bisquit, stacked cylinders of hand-blown glass diffusers; Flaska, an elongated vessel containing a small organic form; and Pullo (shown here), a table or floor lamp of vessels within vessels made with blown-glass diffusers that mix white murrine with clear glass. Derek Marshall Lighting has introduced its new Marrakesh pendant, made from three separate, overlapping kiln-formed petals of American art glass. The glass petals, fastened by stainless-steel screws, allow for an interesting play of light both through and around the glass. The glass comes in a variety of colors, and the hardware, cord and canopy also come in several colors and finishes. Like bamboo? Now there's another way to use it. Walker Zanger has introduced the Sobu Collection, a new line of bamboo mosaic tiles. Made of—yes—bamboo, the product is available in multiple mosaic patterns, including basketweave, herringbone, straight and random planking, all of which show off the renewable material's subtle variations in veining and hue.
