Van H. Gilbert Architects’ University of New Mexico Project
Van H. Gilbert Architects of Albuquerque, New Mexico, in association with Shepley Bulfinch of Boston, has completed the University of New Mexico’s Science and Mathematics Learning Center, a $14 million, 62,000-square-foot building that includes classrooms, a 200-seat auditorium, a visualization lab and a cafe.
The building, which anchors the university’s western boundary, is positioned to receive LEED Gold certification. McCarthy NM served as contractor on the project.
